Adam McDaniel
Adam is our senior hairstylist with over 20 years of experience and knowledge behind him. Adam was formally educated at Roberts Institute of Hair Design and spent several years as an Alfaparf color educator and mentor.
Adam has an encyclopedia-like understanding of hair color and a passion for customer service. Adam gets your style right the first time. One appointment session in his chair and you’ll understand why he is a client favorite.
Ashley Calderone
With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Ashley brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her craft. She studied at both Graham Webb Academy and BBU, honing her skills and mastering a diverse range of techniques. Ashley is well-rounded in her craft, excelling in color, cuts, razor work, barbering, and extensions. Her dedication to her profession and her clients' satisfaction is evident in every service she provides.
Dawn Pumphrey
Graduated from Ron Thomas School of Cosmetology in 1987, I have over three decades of experience in the beauty industry. I owned and operated a salon in Severna Park, Maryland, from 2000 to 2005. Later, I expanded my skills with a degree in Graphic Design from the University of Phoenix. My expertise includes precision cuts, foil highlighting, and hair coloring. I take pride in achieving my clients' goals by truly listening to their needs and combining that understanding with my extensive experience.
Carissa
As a licensed cosmetologist trained at The Temple Annapolis, a Paul Mitchell Partner School, I bring a blend of creativity and precision to every client. Specializing in balayages and men's cuts, I take pride in transforming hair with modern techniques and personalized styles. I thrive on delivering thorough consultations, ensuring each person leaves not only looking fantastic but also feeling their absolute best. My passion for the art of hairstyling and commitment to excellence make every appointment an enjoyable and uplifting experience.
Lindsay Pass
Cosmetologist
Lindsay is the Spa & Salon Director at Swan Cove and a licensed cosmetologist with 9 years of experience in hairstyling, cutting, coloring, and nails. Specializing in color correction and blonding, she brings her expertise and creativity to every client. Lindsay's passion for her work is evident in her dedication to helping clients look and feel their absolute best. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, Lindsay transforms hair with precision and flair.
Denise Bartlett
Denise is a graduate of Anne Arundel Community College’s massage program and has been practicing massage since 2008.
She enjoys the healing aspect of massage therapy, particularly in the area of pain relief. She believes that massage is a great way to reconnect with one's spirit, soul, and body. Denise enjoys various modalities, including Swedish, deep tissue, and hot stone massages.
In her free time, Denise enjoys spending time in nature exploring the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay, going to the beach, and spending time with her family.
Icey Vantina E. Allen
Icey Vantina E. Allen is a native of the Eastern Shore. She graduated from Harris School of Business in massage therapy at the top of her class. She is licensed in both Maryland and Delaware. Icey is passionate about her work and enjoys helping her clients relax and
de-stress.
She specializes in aromatherapy and muscle tension release. Icey can create a massage that is specific to your needs with a serene approach that offers harmony and balance.
Andrew
Massage Therapist/ Reiki Master
Andrew, an Eastern Shore native has been practicing massage since 2016 and is a graduate of The Baltimore School of Massage. He enjoys utilizing modalities such as Reflexology, Acupressure, Orthopedic massage, and Myofascial Release. In his sessions, he enjoys blending modalities together in combination to specifically address a client's needs. He is also a Certified Reiki Master/ Instructor and enjoys utilizing Reiki in his massage therapy sessions as well to promote deeper relaxation and help assist the body's natural healing processes. He specializes in helping the body, mind, and soul to connect and recalibrate with one another.
In Andrew’s spare time, he enjoys spending time in nature hiking with his two dogs or being with friends and family
Melissa Waddell
Melissa is a graduate of The Baltimore School of Massage. She has 18 years of experience in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial release, Hot Stone, Prenatal, Reflexology, and Induction massage. Melissa likes to incorporate stretching in combination with massage. When she is not taking care of clients she can be found at the beach collecting sea glass and soaking up the sun.
Michelle Fisher
Born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Michelle is a 2010 graduate of Chesapeake College's Massage Therapy Program.
Some of her modalities that are most inspiring to her are; frozen shoulders, cancer massage for spa, total body stretch, whiplash, sport injury, and plantar fasciitis.
In her spare time, the love of live music concerts are at the top of her list, gardening and the thrill of motorcycles.
Christina Payne
Massage Therapist
Christina graduated from Chesapeake college with an Applied Science Degree and became nationally board certified in massage therapy in 2006.
She is also A certified sound and Vibrational practitioner certified by the complementary medicine association. She believes the whole person should be treated, not just the body but the mind body and spirit. Christina loves travel and spending time with her family.
Christina recently became certified as a Sound Healer for Kids.
Nolan Rivera
Massage Therapist
With five years of experience in spas, Nolan brings a passion for deep tissue and trigger point therapy. He’s also eager to expand his expertise by learning lymphatic drainage soon!
Outside of his work, Nolan enjoys baking, anime, video games, and spending time with his son. We’re thrilled to have him on board and can’t wait for you all to meet him!

Melissa has joined Swan Swan Cove as an esthetician. Melissa is excited to treat all skin care needs. With her strong background at a world renowned resort she will leave you relaxed, glowing as well as pampered!

With over 10 years of experience as an esthetician, Josi specializes in facial rejuvenation, corrective treatments, anti-aging treatments, peels, and microdermabrasion. She is dedicated to customizing her treatments to address each client's unique skin concerns, ensuring optimal results. Josi's expertise and personalized approach make her a trusted professional in the field of skincare, committed to helping clients achieve healthy, radiant skin.
Kim Hambright, RN, LE
Kim Hambright is a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Esthetician (LE) at Swan Cove Spa & Salon. With her extensive medical background and passion for aesthetics, Kim specializes in delivering exceptional Botox treatments that help clients achieve their desired look with confidence and care.
Brooke Scheminant
Brooke graduated from Pressley Beauty Academy in Delaware. She has been with Swan Cove Spa & Salon for 13 years. She specializes in Shellac manicures and pedicures and is certified in these services. Brooke loves to be around people and makes them feel good.
She finds it extremely rewarding to put a smile on a client's face. When Brooke is not working, you can find her collecting sea glass, working out at the gym, and spending time with her family.
Jen Lockwood
1996 cosmetology graduate of Queen Anne’s County H.S , 26 years experience licensed cosmetologist , with continued education in my favorite areas spa manicure & spa pedicure as well highlights and hair coloring.
I enjoy making others feel and look their best. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my 2 children and spoiling my new grandson , catching up with friends and trying new places to eat.
